Thanks to PopFemenist for showing me these fan letters to Marylin Monroe on VanityFair.com. They make me want to send fan mail to my favorite icons, but somehow I get the sense Karl doesn't want me sending him a crayon drawing of a heart.

i think there is something incredibly rad about the thought of sending little tokens to your heroes.
