Lately I've taken to putting on the first item I see when I walk into a store. Then I walk around and shop wearing said item. I don't know why I do it and it makes sales people pretty uncomfortable.Last weekend the victim was the accessories department at Barney's Co-Op. I picked up this Alexander Wang stunner (that I've been lusting over for a while) and instead of swinging it over my shoulder, I pulled the chain straps through the holes on the sides. Believe me when I tell you- this bag makes a SWEET backpack. I've drawn this handy diagram so you can imagine it for yourself, but duh it does not do it justice.
This time, instead of crazy looks from the sales people, the head of the accessories department gave me her card so she could help me in the future. I think my shopping experimentation is really heading in the right direction.
