I have to take a moment and commend New York Magazine's The Cut for rewarding an aspirant like me with a consistently excellent and reader-friendly style blog experience. The Cut is a great example of what's possible when a traditional media institution takes on the challenge and the joy of the internet. Editor Amy Odell assembles a crack team of fashion enthusiasts and insiders, and curates one of the quickest-reporting blogs around. Add good design, a running list of recurring features, wit and an honest voice to that mix, and you've got yourself a loyal feed subscriber.
